Our day trips take us to out-of-the-way places, where we find old bridges with fascinating structural features. The rick-rack design of this bridge defines its personality and strength. The bones of this bridge endured the years and carried humans from one side of the river to the other.
Bridges are not only made out of iron and cement. People and pets are life's bridges, as well. Has it been your fortune to have a friend who carried you from sadness and pain to smiles and perseverence?

OMG, Sunshine, you're back! I've missed your sunny comments. We miss you, too. Glad you like Gypsy...my other blog grew to be too demanding on my time. For the time being, Gypsy is where you'll find me. Thanks for leaving me a comment, Sunshine.
My hope is that all of us can say that we have met someone who pulled us up out of the muck and mire.
