Over the years, we boomers didn't realize the day would actually come when we'd be forced into watching our world be taken over and replaced by the generations right behind us.  Aren't we the generation credited with kicking up our heels and changing that funky world that belonged to our parents?  Man, we thought we were s-o-o smart.

Well, kids, what goes around, comes around.  The time has arrived for us to sit and watch a new world be ushered in.  We are about to experience what our parents felt when we plopped the computer down in front of 'em and expected them to jump on board with us in our fancy-dance lifestyle.  Well do we remember them wondering what the hell that contraption was good for, other than another place to channel hard-earned money and something else to clutter up the house.  Many refused to lay their hands on a computer keyboard, my dear mother included.

It's not only the cultural and moral world that's changed, but our language has, too.   Words that meant one thing to us, now have new identities, leaving us wondering what the hell they're good for and refusing to use them.  A few examples.......
