Thank You

Jimminy Crickets.   I forgot to post my thoughts today.  After my morning coffee,  I immediately got tangled in making bracelets out of pop tabs.  I've designed a new style that has skyrocketed sales, and, therefore, must keep my nose to the grindstone, as the old saying goes.

Old sayings and proverbs and adages continue to echo the eternal truths.   We, here in the Midwest,  know how to keep our noses to the grindstone, cuz we learned from little on that life came to us with responsibility,  and that means tending to whatever task is before us.

My blog affords me a platform to share the irks that live within me.  Has anyone besides me noticed that the generations trodding in our footsteps, for the most part, don't know how and when to say "thank you?"    Nothing hurts me more than not hearing those two simply spoken words.  Where did our generation go wrong?

I truly don't know. I have also noticed the young kids, generally 16-29, have no respect for anyone, including themselves, and act as if the world owes them a favor. ???
The are also in such a rush, and it seems to be the girls more than the boys. Go figure.
